SUSPENSION OF JURY PILOT PROGRAM AB 1981 FOR INCREASED JUROR PAY

May 23, 2025

El Centro, California – Effective May 19, 2025, the AB 1981 pilot program that provided increased compensation to jurors will be discontinued. As a result, juror pay will return to the standard rate of $15 per day and .34 cents per mile both ways. Jurors who are currently serving or who have completed a paid day of service on or before May 16, 2025, will continue to receive the $100 a day until the end of their service.
